replicating every nuance—intermodulation distortion, frequency-dependent saturation,

LAM16's automatic oversampling system intelligently activates when
your session runs below 96kHz, ensuring the model always operates at its trained
sample rate for minimal aliasing and maximum authenticity.

This is the input gain of the pre-amp. Use it for subtle harmonic enhancement or push it harder for the signature beefy, distorted character that made the AM16 legendary on drums and percussion.
Auto-Gain compensation ensures consistent output levels when adjusting the drive. Increase the saturation without changing your mix balance.
Overdrive mode takes the preamp into heavy saturation territory — ideal for adding aggressive character to drums, guitars, and any source that needs serious attitude.
Engage the Zener Diode circuit for additional harmonic saturation and vintage character. This mode adds extra edge and presence, perfect for adding analog grit and color to your tracks.
