The source unit is renowned for the use of 5751 and 6922 dual triode vacuum tubes. It offers Compression (3:1) and Limit (10:1) modes with sidechain (80Hz High Pass), and also includes an "Overdrive" mode that pushes the Iron Transformers!

Features & Controls
This control increases the input gain into the compression model and you get compression + non linearities such as saturation of the model.
This control lets you trim the output gain after the compression model in the chain.
When in the on position the compressor becomes a limiter with high ratio, just like the original hardware.
This button when enabled does some gain compensation for the compression applied.
This button enables hard driven captured models where you can hear more music saturation, but never too much.
This enables the models in Sidechain mode, where the low frequency content of the input signal does not affect the compression too much. It's great on a mix, drums or bass.
Ultra-X Mode
Up to 192kHz models that minimize aliasing and offer a higher frequency response. The incoming audio is oversampled to run the Ultra X models — requiring more CPU for superior quality, closest to the original source.
